Inviting the

Culturally Curious

Root Vegetable is a Korean-inspired cooking and cultural experience for the culturally curious, held in a small, kitchen-table setting. Led by a Korean host living in the Netherlands, each session explores how Dutch seasonal ingredients can be transformed through Korean food cultures, techniques, and ways of seeing. Rather than relying on specialty imports or fixed ideas of tastes, participants learn the underlying principles of a dish: how flavor, texture, and composition come together. Root Vegetables connects cultural practices, ingredient knowledge, and personal memories through one thoughtful, hands-on experience.

Monthly sessions
